Holographic roses nails with Ozotic Pro 509

Hello everyone ^_^/

just a quick post for me today, sharing a holographic manicure from my vault, using Ozotic Pro #509.
I don't remember exactly when I did these nails but I cannot believe it took me so long to post them.

It all started as I was painting my nails with the lovely Borghese Bellissima Rose that I got from my dearest 'Chelle. The colour was very pretty and bright after two layers but I started wondering what I could to to spice it up a bit.

Of course with me, holo is always the way to go, so I took out Ozotic Pro 509 from my untrieds stash and decided to give it a go. So I applied a coat over Bellissima Rose and omg I was amazed.

I thought that Ozotic Pro 509 was a silver holo nail polish but it's more like a holographic top coat, transforming every nail polish into holographic goodness (and with just one coat)!

To finish this look off I decided to add some 3D roses as well ^_^

How do you like this mani dear readers? With the help of Seche Vite top coat, I had it on for a week ^_^

Estessimo TiNS haul, magical bottles full of glitter

Hello everyone ^_^

Today I want to share with you one of my most favourite nail polish brands. In my opinion, it's maybe the best right next to Anna Sui. Years ago when most brands just had red, pink and sheer colours, this brand was showering nail art enthusiasts with glitter. It's none other than Estessimo TiNS, a Japanese nail polish brand. I first found out about it, while reading Japanese magazines and every time I was in Japan I would pick up a bottle or two.

But I was always looking for a place to buy them online that would ship internationally. Recently my wish was granted as I came across Mei Mei's Signatures. In the last couple of months I placed a few orders, trying to collect my Estessimo TiNS lemmings (that have been piling up over the years XD)

And here they are

On the top row, from left to right we have: the Happy Milk , the Dreamy Magic, Vanessa's Horoscope, the Amethyst, the Perfect Prince and the Saturn.
On the bottom row, from left to right we have: the Pink Sapphire, the Juicy Banana, the Sacred Shine, the Alluring Aquamarine, the Precious Diamond, Macaron Framboises and the Stunning Rock Star. Let me mention that most of these are glitters apart from  the Alluring Aquamarine, the Precious Diamond and the Stunning Rock Star that are holographics.

Of course since I got them, I have been wearing them non stop, so here are some recent manicures with these beauties.

On the top left I am wearing Estessimo TiNS the Mars, a sparkly red glitter that I had bough back in Japan.
In the top left and in the middle photos I am wearing Estessimo TiNS Vanessa's Horoscope, stamped with white Konad nail polish using the FUN2 image plate that I recently got from Fab Ur Nails.
And on the bottom row, you can see my current mani, Estessimo TiNS the Pink Sapphire. The photos don't do these beauties justice as they are fabulous when you see them up close but I did my best ^_^

How do you like this brand dear readers? Do you own any of these nail polishes? Would you like to see the rest of my TiNS stash? Or is there any specific colour that you would like to see in detail?

p.s. as always, you can click on the photos for bigger versions ^_^

May photoblog, a visit from a dear friend

Hello everyone ^_^/

I do apologise for the recent lack of posts but the current heatwave leaves me feeling like a chicken all the time with no mood to do much. Since it is now getting a bit better, I decided to sit down and write a post I've been meaning to write for sometime now.

Back in May, a very dear friend of mine came to visit. None other than the lovely Ms Ria that runs the Miss Dudette blog. She is one of the first blogger friends I made and when she told me she was finally coming to visit, I was super excited as you can imagine ^_^

She came bearing lots of lovely gifts.

Some were beauty related but my favourites were homemade lemonade and lemon cake. Yummy!
She even made a lovely blue franken just for me! Isn't it pretty? (we named it but aaargh I have forgotten the name since then, how bad am I?)

We walked all around town

meeting new and old friends and enjoying some fine food and drinks.

I wanted to keep her here longer but her lizards were waiting so she had to go back home. But we will meet again very soon for sure ^_^

Have you met any of your blogger friends irl dear readers? Did you have fun? Recently I have met quite a few lovely ladies through blogging that I now consider very good friends ^_^

July nail inspiration and giveaway winner

Hello everyone ^_^/

July is here and the time for summer vacation is drawing near. So the theme for this month's nail inspiration is marine nail art. The latest issue of Nail Max has some really lovely marine nail art tutorials and I am going to share them with you today!

But before that, let me announce the winner of my blog's second birthday giveaway. It is the lovely rock-or-not ^___^ Congratulations!!! I have emailed the winner already. If I don't get a reply within 48 hours, a new winner will be chosen. Thank you so much to everyone who entered and don't worry if you didn't win. I am preparing my next giveaway already.

Now on to the marine nail art tutorials.

First the easiest one, with a cute sail boat theme. As you can see each tutorial comes with a few variations.

Next up a cute nautical design and a pirate skull.

And finally, for those of you who are more advanced, an anchor and a dolphin cameo style design.

I hope you liked these tutorials. What do you have on your nails right now? Do tell ^_^
