Lynnderella Love Potion No.99 & my summer vacation

Hello everyone ^_^/

I am back from my vacation and before a very busy month comes my way, I want to say goodbye to the summer with an epic post full of glitter and beauty.

As you might remember if you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, I recently acquired my first Lynnderella polishes. My small Lynnderella army as I like to call them. I wanted to try one of them so I ran a mini FB and IG poll and in the end the winner was Love Potion No.99, a beautiful purple glitter.

I used a coat of black nail polish as my base and two layers of Love Potion No.99. Added two coats of my Color Club top coat to even out any bumps and my nails were ready to hit the beach ^_^

So I set off to one of the most beautiful places in Greece, Halkidiki. I had a fabulous time as we rented a boat and went around all the little islands that were near us. So many beautiful beaches with clear cool waters were waiting to be explored.

We did a bit of sightseeing too, visiting the birthplace of Aristoteles, the local Byzantine castle, the beautiful island of Ammouliani and a fabulous 5 star hotel, Alexandros Palace that is located in the area.

If you are curious about what was in my makeup bag during this trip you can check my previous post. Apart from what's pictured there I carried some more beauty essentials with me that you can see below.

If you are wondering how Love Potion No.99 fared in the sea water, the answer is not very well. Everyday I would have to fix at least a couple of nails but I guess that is to be expected when you are in the water all day.

Where did you go on vacation this year dear readers? Have you ever been to Greece?

What's in my makeup bag, the summer edition

Hello everyone ^_^/

I am on vacation so this is a quick post. I've been tagged by quite a few friends to do a what's in my makeup bag post. So here it is, in summer edition mode.

So this is what I'm currently carrying with me, beautywise. My most favourite products for this summer.
Starting from top to bottom and from left to right.
First of all you can see my favourite makeup pouch. It is a Shu Uemura/Yayoi Kusama collaboration and it was a Christmas gift from a very dear friend.
Then we have two Kate smoky eye palettes in purple and pink, two BarryM dazzle dusts in purple and white, a pinkish white BarryM glitter dust, an Illamasqua pure pigment in Static, my beloved Shisheido matifying oil-free compact in ivory, a TonyMoly lip tint in cherry, a Mac pigment in Kitschmas and an Essence pencil sharpener.
Just below them a NARS eyeshadow in Fathom, the new Anna Sui mascara (which is epic as it makes even my boring lashes look long and glamorous), my always trusted Etude House BB cream for oily skin, an Urban Decay eyeshadow primer potion, a Mac eyeshadow brush, a NARS glitter pencil in Roxbury (silver glitter), a Sephora Jumbo Liner in grey, an Urban Decay eye pencil in Oil Slick and an Etude House Tear Drop Liner in  white.

Have you ever tried any of these products dear readers? What's in your makeup bag?

Holographic ice cream nails with NfuOh Jelly Syrup

Hello everyone ^_^/

let me present to you my latest addiction, the NfuOh Jelly Syrup series. These nail polishes are made specifically for layering and can be used to achieve fabulous nail looks.

For example, look at these holographic ice cream nails that I've been wearing last week.

I started two coats of NfuOh #61, a holographic silver, over the infamous aqua base. As you can see, application was perfect.

Then using NfuOh JS16 from the Jelly Syrup series I made this drip effect that made my nails look like cyber ice creams.

I finished the look with a layer of Anna Sui top coat and my nails went chip free for a week ^_^
