Korean cosmetics collective haul, Etude House, Tony Moly, Skin Food

My beauty wishlist has been growing dangerously lately as I was on a no buy but after lusting after them for so long I decided it was time to try out a couple of CC creams. Since I was on a roll I added a few other products as well (including some nail polishes of course). Everything arrived today so here is my Korean cosmetics haul!

After checking out all different types of CC creams, I decided to get the Luminous Pure Aura CC cream by TonyMoly and the 8 in 1 Silky CC cream by Etude House.

My favourite BB cream is by Etude House so I am very curious to see the effects of their CC cream on my skin. I chose the Silky version as I have oily to combination skin. This is an 8 in 1 action cream with SPF 30. Not bad if you ask me. And since Tony Moly is shaping up to be one of my absolute favourite beauty brands in general I chose their Luminous pure aura CC cream too (also with SPF 30). I am going to be trying both of them asap. I also wanted to try the Etude House moistfull series and I found two convenient sample packs that include everything. One is the Aloe Moistful skin care kit and the other is the Collagen moistfull skin care kit.

Of course I had to get some nail polishes as well!

This Etude House Halloween nail art kit is fantastic! It is called the If Story nail kit. Anything Halloween is great in my book!

I also spotted this super cute Milk Shake nail polish by Skin Food and of course I had to add it to my collection. And the lovely seller included an Etude House ice cream nail polish as a gift! How sweet!!!

Last but not least I got the Etude House Etoinette Crystal Powder. I wanted this for quite some time. First of all look at the super cute packaging! And then, it's glitter, for the face!!! Nothing can beat that. I plan to use this a lot during the summer and not just on my face, yes!!!

What do you think of these products dear readers? Is there anything you would like me to review for you? Do you own any of these or are any in your wishlist?

Last but not least as you must have heard by now, google reader is going away on Monday. So if you want to stay up to date with my blog you can do so via bloglovin, instagram, pinterest, facebook and twitter to name a few. You can find other ways to keep in touch if you just check my sidebar.

My latest creative endeavours

About a month ago I took part in a spring bazaar to showcase my Cel's Deconails jewelry and decoden creations. It was a fun weekend full of new experiences and meetings with good friends old and new.

The bazaar was all about spring flowers so I showcased jewellery and accessories to match the theme.

I always enjoy taking part in such events and meeting other people with similar interests ^_^

If you like my work you can always find more Cel's Deconails creations at etsy and storenvy.

Along with me was a fellow crafty bitches member, Debris jewelry. We shared a booth so we could support each other if needed.

Here are some of the other stalls at the bazaar. It was the weekend before Orthodox Easter so there were a lot of candles available.

Do you attend bazaars and craft fairs dear readers? Do you like crafting and buying handmade goods? Let me know in the comments.

Stay tuned as I have a birthday celebration coming up (as my blog and etsy store just turned 3 years old) plus I have some exciting news to share ^_^ In the meantime have a great weekend!

My recent manis, glitter and holographic nails

Since my posting has become quite sporadic lately I realised I haven't posted my manicures for quite some time. So here are some of my favourite manis of the last few months. Most of them are holographic or glitter nails as expected ^_^

More pictures and details under the cut.

Starting with my nails of last week I am wearing Australis Speck-tacular (a beautiful flakie that I got from my dear 'Chelle) over black.

Blue glitter nails using Revlon Radiant and Sally Hansen Showgirl Chic (got these as Christmas gifts from Smugnificent and Moni)

China Glaze is one of my favourite nail polish brands. Here I am wearing Razzle me Dazzle me over black.

A few weeks ago I took part in a spring bazaar (post about this coming soon) so I did rose themed nail art to match the occasion. My base is China Glaze Watermelon Rind and I also used Glitter Effect in pink by Erre Due.

Holographic nails using Estessimo TiNS Bon Bon Savon and Seductive Amethyst.

Holographic skittle nails using HITS no Olimpo nail polishes.

And last but not least, cupcake themed nails using Nails Inc sprinkles special effects in Topping Lane (pink) and Pudding Lane (blue).

Do you own any of these dear readers? What are you wearing on your nails as we speak?

May nail inspiration, Japanese nail art and decoden

If you read this blog frequently, you must know by now that I love Japanese nail art and decoden. So for this month's nail inspiration how about combining the two? Here is nail art inspired by deco items
The images are from Nail Max Collections.

Handpainted decoden phone case and matching nails. So cute and yummy!!!

Or if you wish, you can match your nails to your favourite deco photo frame.

Airbrush nail art and matching chopsticks. So pretty!!!

Here are a few more ideas. Match your nails to your accessories, your perfume bottle, your camera or even your champagne bottle!

When it comes to deco and nail art, the only limit is your imagination. There are so many different methods, techniques and products that you can use that the possibilities are endless.

What do you think of this idea dear readers? Do you find it inspiring or too much?

For the record I am stating again that these images are from Nail Max Collections and are just scanned by me. You can click on each image to see a bigger version.

Favourite cosmetics brands - Majolica Majorca

Today I have for you another post about one of my favourite Asian beauty brands. The brand I want to talk about is Majolica Majorca from Japan, the drugstore section of Shiseido, available only in Asian countries like Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

The first thing you'll notice is the fabulous packaging!
Gold and black are the main colours but special edition items are even cuter!

Let's take a look at some of the products. I will start with their mascaras which in my opinion are top quality. They are some of the best I have ever used, with spectacular results! You might have read previous posts where I express my adoration for Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Frame Plus (their top product if you ask me) but I actually own quite a few from their collection. They all have special brushes and work really well. You can see them all, along with brush shots below.

The white ones are primers. My favourite is the one in the back. It builds up your lashes, making them look longer. I have tried all of the mascaras above and I am very pleased with all of them. They all do what they promise.

Next up are the face products. The star product here (and my second favourite product from this brand) is the Majolica Majorca Pressed Pore Cover compact (the black box). It's a translucent powder that blends with the colour of your skin and give a flawless end result. As you can see, I always have a refill available, as I use this powder almost daily (along with my beloved BB cream).

The red compact is the Special Edition All Night Compact. It is also a translucent powder with a hint of shimmer. Perfect for a special occasion or a night out. And finally the white tube is the Majolica Majorca Skin Lingerie Pore Cover. it is a face primer with SPF 20. I like it because it's light and it works well with my oily skin. It has a light shade but it blends well with most skin tones.

Next up is my small collection of eye products, some eyeliners and my trusted white eyeshadow (I use it mostly as a base).

A couple of special edition items that I picked up while in Hong Kong. A small Majolica Majorca Jeweling Eyes eyeshadow compact in lavender sugar and a Majolica Majorca Puff De Cheek blush in peach macaron. I love the kawaii sweets theme ^_^

Even though Majolica Majorca has a great range of nail colours I don't own many as I find them very sheer. I only have these two. The swatches are 4 coats without base or top coat yet as you can see they are both quite sheer. They are perfect for jelly sandwiches though!

Are you familiar with this brand dear readers? Would you try it? Any products that I haven't tried that you would recommend?
