10 items I would repurchase tag

Hello everyone ^_^/

back in August the lovely Argyrousa tagged me with the 10 items I would repurchase tag. So here are the 10 beauty products I would repurchase if I ran out.

1. Etude House BB cream for Oily Skin. I have tried a lot of BB creams but this one is by far the best for my skin. It kills any breakout, has perfect coverage, yet feels light on the face and blends perfectly with my skin tone.
2. Skin 79 UV perfect BB Pact SPF 30. My favourite face product along with my BB cream. Gives my face a matte look and has SPF 30 to protect me from the harmful sunrays. It's always in my purse.
3. Majolica Majorca Lash Expander Frame Plus mascara. The best mascara you can ever find. Majolica Majorca is the drugstore department of Shisheido and available only in Asia but if you ever come across this epic product, do not pass it by. Your lashes will be grateful!
4. Seche Vite top coat. Need I say more?
5. TonyMoly petite bunny gloss bar in cherry. I usually cannot take lip products as they bother me but I am loving this one. It hydrates my lips and gives them a small splash of colour too. Plus it has a lovely cherry scent. (for a chance to win one of these in neon yellow amongst other things, make sure you enter my Happy Halloween giveaway).
6. NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk. This is a new entry but I always find products like this very handy and this shade is perfect for every occasion.
7. LUSH Lemony Flutter cuticle butter. This is my third pack if that says anything.
8. L'Occitane precious fluid. I cannot go without this one. This bottle is almost over so I will need a new one soon.
9. Apivita Lavender & Honey shampoo. My favourite lavender smell can be on my hair too. A shampoo designed for sensitive scalp, it also makes my hair soft and shiny :)
10. And last but not least, another L'Occitane product, the infamous L'Occitane Shea Butter. There are many ways to use this, from hydrating your body to taking care of rough spots like feet. Highly recommended!

So what are the 10 products you would repurchase dear readers?

Purple, glitter and duochrome! Yes, please!

Hello everyone ^_^/

It's a lovely Sunday and time for another post too.

Today I will show you the mani I did for my recent trip to London.
I was going through my stash and found a bunch of Sinful Colors polishes that I haven't used, plus I recently randomly discovered Sally Hansen's Garnet Lapis at a local store so I decided to combine all these in a manicure and see what will happen. And this is what I got.

Here are all the nail polishes that I used.

From left to right, Seche Vite top coat, Sinful Colors I Miss You, Daddy's Girl and I Love You, Sally Hansen Garnet Lapis and Color Club Vitabase.

First I painted half of my nails with Daddy's Girl and half with I Love You.

The colours look quite similar in the bottle but on the nails Daddy's Girl is a more blueish purple (it's on my pinky and middle finger).
Then I painted some nails with I Miss You and some with Garnet Lapis. Topped everything with Seche Vite and I was ready to go.

It was very interesting seeing how differently I Miss You looked on Daddy's Girl and I Love You. Garnet Lapis on the other hand looked the same over each colour.

Recently I do not have enough time to do my nails which is why you haven't seen a lot of nail art or stamping from me, but I found that combining different colours and finishes is another way of spicing up a manicure. Also this one lasted almost 10 days with no chipping whatsoever, even when I was dragging my overstuffed suitcase at the airport!

On another note I would like to let you all know that my giveaway is now closed.

Thank you so much to everyone who entered, I am really happy and touched by all your sweet messages *^_^*

I now need to verify and count the entries and then I will announce the winners. Also as during my giveaway, my blog passed the 1000 followers mark, I picked up a couple of special items from London that will be a 1000 follower special prize. The winner of that will be picked from all my current followers and will be announced along with the winners of my giveaway.

Hope you're all having a fab weekend :)

I'm back and this is my Easter manicure!

Hello everyone ^_^/

How was your Easter weekend?
I am back from my vacation in beautiful Vienna where I had a fantastic time.
I am not exaggerating when I say it is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

But first things first, let me share with you my Easter manicure.
Now it had no obvious Easter elements like bunnies or eggs but I still somehow feel it fit the Easter theme.

It was so shiny that my camera had trouble capturing it at first.

Here is what I used.

Catherine Arley holographic polish #666
Deborah Lippmann Bad Romance
BarryM Instant Nail Effects in Black Magic
Art Deco nail striper in black with silver glitter
NfuOh Aqua Base
Seche Vite top coat

The mani managed to make it through travelling and carrying suitcases around just fine which is always a plus.

Also as my friend Ria kept pestering me I decided to join bloglovin'.
So Follow my blog with bloglovin if you want ^_^

And I will close this post with a couple of photos from Schönbrunn Palace
In the first one you can see Vienna in the back with St.Stephen's Cathedral and the second one is a panoramic shot of the Palace and the gardens. Each photo is clickable if you want a bigger view.

Do you like these photos of the palace? I always take a lot of photos when I travel and I have a huge collection. Would you be interested in seeing some of them in this blog from time to time?
Let me know ^_^

My Greek pride manicure

Hello everyone ^_^/

how are you doing this lovely Saturday evening?
Today I have a very special manicure to share with you all.
On March 25 was the Greek Independence day and even though two of my nails have recently broken,
I wanted to make a manicure for the occasion.

I decided to make something in blue and white as these are the colours of our flag.

Here is what I used to achieve the look.

After base coat I applied two coats of Orly Out of this World.
Then I sponged GOSH Vanilla Ice on it.
Finally I added the rose 3D stickers and some spangles and sealed everything in with Seche Vite top coat.

As for staying power I had this on for 8 days and it was chip free. I finally changed it as I wanted to try another look. I think it is one of my favourite manicures so far!

Also don't forget to enter my Springtime Giveaway if you haven't already.

A black manicure with lots of sparkle

Hello everyone ^_^/

how are you today?
Just a few days now left for Christmas, weeeeee I'm so excited.
Today I will share a black manicure with a twist. I was inspired to do this by various nail art designs that I saw on Japanese nail magazines. It can be worn for the festive season too.

Here is what you will need for this manicure.

Essence Fatal
BB Couture Spellbound (from my awesome Overall Beauty haul that I will be posting about soon)
Zoya Nova
silver spangles in various sizes
Seche Vite top coat

I painted all the fingers except one on each hand black. Then the two accent fingers that I chose were painted with Spellbound and then Nova. Added the spangles on the black nails forming various lines, topped with Seche and done.

I was so happy with this one that I didn't want to take it off. And as you can see when the light hits it, it's a really sparkly and eye catching manicure! I think I might be doing something similar for New Year's, but with different colours ^_^

Purple Animal Print Nail tutorial

Hello everyone ^_^/

It is the weekend and I have more free time in my hands so I am thinking it is time for another tutorial.

Here is one of my favourite patterns, animal print, combined with one of my favourite colours, purple.

First here is what you are going to need.
A lilac nail polish (I used OPI's Do you Lilac It), base and top coat (I used Seche Vite for both), a silver nail art pen (I used Sally Hansen's silver nail art pen), a deep purple and a purple glitter nail art polishes.

So after preparing your nails you apply a layer of base coat.
Then two coats of the lilac polish.

I really love glitter so usually I like covering one or two of my nails on each hand with glitter. In this case I chose my index finger and my little finger. After applying a layer of the purple glitter polish on each, using the pen side of the dark purple nail art polish I drew large dots on each of my other fingers.

After waiting for the dots to dry for a few minutes, using the nail art pen I drew smaller dots inside the big ones.

And voila, animal print nails.

I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial, I will make another one soon.

Until the next post, take care everyone :)

Peacock Nails follow up

Hello everyone ^_^/

How are you today?
As I was saying yesterday I was itching to Konad my peacock feather nails. So this is what I did.
I used Nubar Star Sparkle on two nails and on the rest Erre Due 197, clear rhinestones and Konad plate m65. Sealed with Seche Vite top coat and this is the end result.

I really like how the silver looks on this but what really amazed me was Star Sparkle. It definitely lives up to its name.

On a sidenote Gatumi is holding a Massive Summer Giveaway where you can win the following goodies

Check it out if you are interested ^_^
